DOUGLASS Field S Plus COMBO-1 Duralumin Oil Lighter
The DOUGLASS Field S Plus COMBO-1 is a precision-made Japanese oil lighter designed for dependable use in outdoor environments.
Its lightweight yet durable duralumin body retains the natural character of solid metal, while the internal fuel tank is made from brass. The slim vertical profile, carefully engineered mechanism, and practical storage features reflect the craftsmanship associated with the DOUGLASS Field series.
The lighter accepts replacement flints measuring up to approximately 3 mm in diameter. This allows it to use both DOUGLASS and MARVELOUS flints measuring approximately 2.9 mm, as well as commonly available Zippo-style flints measuring approximately 2.3 mm.

Field-Ready Construction
The cap presses against the wick assembly when closed, helping reduce fuel evaporation and providing everyday water resistance. The wick is surrounded by an integrated windscreen to improve performance in breezy outdoor conditions.
The water-resistant structure is intended to protect against ordinary splashes and moisture. The lighter is not designed for complete immersion or prolonged exposure to water.
Removable Tank and Spare Storage
The main fuel tank can be removed from the lighter body for refilling and maintenance. A storage compartment in the lower section provides space for spare fuel and a replacement flint, allowing essential supplies to be carried inside the lighter.
Fuel and Maintenance
This lighter is shipped without fuel. Use commercially available lighter fluid intended for refillable wick-type oil lighters.
When reinstalling the fuel tank after refilling:
- Attach and tighten the spare fuel tank or bottom cap to the main fuel tank.
- Insert the assembled fuel tank into the lighter body and tighten it securely.
Attaching the bottom cap after inserting the main tank may prevent the assembly from seating correctly and can leave the ignition lever raised.
Replacement flints and the DOUGLASS Field S maintenance kit are sold separately.
Important Notice
Keep away from children and pets. Confirm that the flame is fully extinguished after use. Water resistance may gradually decrease as seals wear, so periodic inspection and replacement of the O-rings are recommended.
