The Zippo 1935CC faithfully recreates the compact, angular form and distinctive mechanical details of the Zippo lighter produced in 1935.

Its squared silhouette, beveled corner edges, and externally mounted three-barrel hinge give it a noticeably different appearance from a current regular Zippo. This CC version has a plain hand-buffed chrome surface without the diagonal line pattern found on other 1935 Replica variations.

1935 Replica Construction

The 1935 design refined Zippo’s earliest production form by reducing the case height by approximately one-quarter inch and adding beveled edges to the corners.

The external hinge is attached visibly to the outside of the case and divided into three barrels. Together with the dedicated insert and hollow rivet at the flint wheel, these details reproduce the mechanical character of the historical model without sacrificing normal lighter operation.

Hand-Buffed Chrome Finish

The chrome surface is polished by hand to create a restrained satin appearance with subtle character. Unlike decorated 1935 Replica versions, this model does not feature diagonal engraved lines, allowing the angular case and external hinge to remain the visual focus.

Fine scratches and changes in surface appearance may gradually develop through regular handling and use.

Fuel and Maintenance

This lighter is shipped without fuel. Zippo lighter fuel must be purchased separately after delivery.

Use appropriate lighter fuel and compatible replacement flints and wicks. Wipe the case gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, polishing compounds, and strong chemicals that may alter the hand-buffed surface.
