IMCO

IMCO (Imco), the company that set the global standard for lighters today, started its journey when it was originally a button manufacturer. At the request of the Imperial government of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, the company began producing lighters for soldiers, marking the beginning of IMCO’s lighter manufacturing history.

This also marks the beginning of the history of oil lighters. The standards for oil lighters were based on IMCO’s original specifications, and even iconic brands like ZIPPO and disposable lighters follow these specifications today.

IMCO’s origins on the battlefield shaped its key characteristics of being sturdy and easy to use. The lighters, combining a refined shape with a classic look and user-friendly features, have remained full of charm, even nearly 100 years later.

Although IMCO has since withdrawn from lighter manufacturing, which saddened collectors worldwide, shortly after their exit in 2013, Japan's import agent, Tsuge Pipe Company, acquired the brand along with its blueprints. IMCO has now been reborn as a brand that offers a range of high-quality, Japan-made products.

IMCO Super / Junior

The much-anticipated revival of the "Super" and "Junior" oil lighters. IMCO’s oil lighters are known for their complex internal structures and numerous parts. In the revival version, the internal mechanisms remain the same, but the material has been upgraded to corrosion-resistant SUS430 stainless steel, improving durability. With attention to every detail, the fully restored "Super" and "Junior" lighters have been reborn in an even more advanced form.
