GEAR TOP GT1-01 Nickel Mirror Flint Oil Lighter

The GEAR TOP GT1-01 is a Japanese-made flint oil lighter featuring a silver-toned nickel mirror finish over a brass body.

Its polished surface produces a bright, reflective appearance, while the solid 81 g construction gives the lighter a substantial feel in the hand. The smoothly operating lid opens easily and closes securely.

The bottom of the lighter is stamped “GEAR TOP / MADE IN JAPAN.”

GT-ARM Fuel-Retention System

The GT-ARM inner cap covers the ignition area while the lid is closed. This proprietary mechanism helps reduce lighter-fluid evaporation during storage and between uses.

Actual fuel retention will vary depending on temperature, storage conditions, and frequency of use.

Fuel and Maintenance

This lighter is shipped without fuel. Use commercially available lighter fluid intended for refillable wick-type oil lighters.

Use compatible replacement flints and wicks when maintenance is required. Follow the included instructions when refilling the lighter or replacing consumable parts.

Care Instructions

Wipe the mirror-polished surface gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, strong chemicals, and rough polishing materials that may scratch or dull the reflective finish.
