Zippo 205 Satin Chrome Lighter

The Zippo 205 is a classic US catalog model featuring a soft Satin Chrome finish on a regular case.

Its brass body is protected by corrosion-resistant chrome plating and given a finely brushed surface with a gentle, diffused sheen. Less reflective than High Polish Chrome and smoother in appearance than Street Chrome, this finish offers a clean, understated look suitable for everyday use.

Satin Chrome Finish

The chrome-plated brass case is treated with a fine brushed texture that diffuses reflected light. The result is a soft metallic sheen rather than the mirror-like reflection of a highly polished case.

Its understated surface helps reduce the visibility of fingerprints and minor handling marks. Fine scratches or changes in appearance may still develop through regular use.

Fuel and Maintenance

This lighter is shipped without fuel. Zippo lighter fuel must be purchased separately after delivery.

Use appropriate lighter fuel and compatible replacement flints and wicks. Wipe the case gently with a soft, dry cloth, following the direction of the brushed texture. Avoid abrasive cleaners, polishing compounds, and strong chemicals that may alter the Satin Chrome surface.
